Living Fire

An artistic documentary about the life of shepherds in the Ukrainian Carpathians, and the fate of traditional crafts against the background of modern changes. About a day-to-job work without weekends, or any right to show weakness. About the harmonious world we have lost in the search for comfort, and about the childhood we leave behind when we put on the roles of adults.

Bhumi

The Ukrainian family of Manilyuk took on the mission of rescuing and protecting cows. Magnificent animals of different species come here under a variety of circumstances. Many of them are bought on the way to the slaughterhouse for donations from people from all over the world. The shelter also preserves and propagates the oldest Ukrainian breed "Ukrainian gray". It was to this breed that Chumak oxen belonged. Bhumi is the Vedic goddess of the Earth. The main message of the film is philosophical. We try to reveal the theme of interaction between man and nature, we are looking for recipes for happiness and harmony. The film tells about the technologies of conservation of agriculture, tells the 12-year history of the shelter and interesting stories about Bhumi pets.

Seraphima is the abbess and the only novice of the non-existent monastery. She dreams of reviving the former glory of the sect and, together with black archaeologists, is excavating the Garden of Eden, a unique underground monastery. The Innokentievites are an old Russian sect that gained immense popularity in the early twentieth century. Incredibly expressive and eccentric. The film tells about the life of the last adherents of the eccentric cult.

Land of Molfars
