Q&A session with the director of the film Chergi weavers

The theme of weaving is so special for our Festival. Almost every edition of the OKO International Ethnographic Film Festival has a film that reveals this topic. This year the Bulgarian national program included Olena Stoycheva's tape "Chergi Weavers", which introduces viewers to traditional Bulgarian weaving.

Due to the Q&A session with the director of the film our audience had the opportunity to learn more about:

- The peculiarity of the "Baba" residence, where Olena Stoycheva was a participant.

- Is the project functioning today, how the participants are selected, is there any support from the state.

- the weavers, main characters of the film, and their life after the film.
