The 5th OKO International Ethnographic Film Festival announces the feature national competition program

This year, 10 films will compete for a prize in the section NASHE OKO, which we will show to our viewers in both Ukraine and Bulgaria during the festival's film week.

The program department of the ОКО International Ethnographic Film Festival has spent a lot of days reviewing numerous applications for participation in the Film Festival, and now we are going to announce the films of the feature competition program NASHE OKO which is a national competition program.

"At first, we were not sure that we would be able to put together a unique and distinctive national feature documentary national competition program. According to the terms of admission, we considered Ukrainian and Bulgarian feature films as candidates for the international section. But practice has shown that we were wrong. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of Ukrainian documentaries submitted for consideration. After consulting, we decided to organize another competition section. This year, we have selected 10 documentaries made in Ukraine, about Ukraine, by Ukrainian directors or with the participation of Ukrainian production and cinematographers for the feature film national competition," says Denys Budanov, the program director of the Film Festival.

The following films were selected to participate in the competition:
